USPS Postage Prices Have Changed!
As of January 27th 2019, USPS has new prices for domestic mail.
HOW DOES THIS IMPACT YOUR INVITATION BUDGET?
Prices for regular mail (one ounce or less) are increasing by 5 cents, from 50 cents to 55 cents.
However, the charge for additional ounces is decreasing from 21 cents to 15 cents.
Most wedding invitations are usually 1.5 to 2 ounces. Because of the extra ounce, your invitation will require a single, one ounce, 55 cent stamp plus an additional one ounce, 15 cent stamp. And don’t forget to stamp your RSVP envelopes with a single, one ounce, 55 cent stamp!
So, for standard wedding invitations mailed in 2019, your postage budget should be $1.25 per invitation.
