Art of the Party

Guests gathered at The Phillips Collection for DC Magazine and Capitol File’s first ever joint event in mid-December. The night was a celebration of creativity and art to “highlight the folks in the District whose art sends shivers up our spines,” according to DC Magazine Editor-in-Chief Kristen Schott and Capitol File Editor-in-Chief Michael Clements. The pair recognized individuals showcased in DC Magazine’s The Art of Living feature such as multidisciplinary artist Holly Bass, painter and interior architect Alexandra Arata and Washington National Opera conductor Evan Rogister, among others.
